What are these? (Aftermarket engine compartment vents)

My buddy sent me a link of a Commander on Cardomain and I noticed it has these moldings on the sides of it - what are they? I'm guessing they are aftermarket correct? and just for show?

Those look great, on other big SUVs like the tahoe or escalade but damn that looks like another door handle on the commander.. to each his own..

I have to agree, I think it looks daft on there. It's too big for the area it has been put on and aesthetically looks wrong.

Aren't those like stick-ons? I haven't seen one of the aftermarket items up close, but it's just plain tacky. It almost looks like it came from the hood.

Sorry, but keeping the XK as an elite stock or 'stocked up' vehcile (winch, lift, etc.) is the way to go, to represent JEEP!

They are stick ons. I've seen them for sale in auto part stores.
