Buy a Flowmaster 50 Series SUV muffler with offset inlet and center outlet in 2.5 inch diameter and have your local muffler shop weld it in. Total cost would be around $150 and youll absolutely love it.
This is what I did. It was the very first mod that I did to my Commander. I added a chrome turn down at the same time and was still not much over a hundred dollars. There is a sound clip on the forum somewhere that a49er set up showing the different sound of several Commanders with different mufflers. Search and you will find it.
