Anyone ever hear of RR 2"lift. I was looking at a local reputable truck accessory place and they quoted me about $450 for total lift kit. $200 for kit $200 for labor then $50 to alignment. But they said it was a 2 inch lift but yet I see 2.25"??? I asked them and they said that's whats listed for commanders......does that make any sense to you guys?

$150-200 (depending on sales) is generally the price range you'll find those lifts. That's a good price for it. $200 labor is a real good price actually. I did my lift in my driveway in a day by myself FWIW. Anyone could do the rear lift in short order, but you have to blow apart most of the front end to do the lift up front.
I would get pblaster and spray down all the bolts a few times in the days leading up to the install.
One thing to keep in mind is that if your in a place where they salt the roads you'll likely have the bolt that is on the bottom of the strut fork rusted in place. It is not required to be removed to install this lift. A few people have had to torch that one out and replace it, which increases cost. I would have left the strut fork in place if I ran into this,
but I'm in CA so mine came right off.

$50 for alignment is fair. Is that lifetime, or a year guarantee? Will they give you a print out of your alignment? I would ask those questions.
Regarding alignment, a lot of shops either don't know how to adjust ours properly, or choose not to mess with the camber for some reason. Might want to mention to them how to adjust camber and caster on this vehicle.
Camber adjustment is made at the LCA (lower control arm) The bolts that anchor the LCA are in slots. Loosen and you can slide it in and out.
CAMBER, CASTER AND TOE ADJUSTMENT
Camber and caster angle adjustments involve changing the position of the lower control arm with the slots in the frame brackets to move the lower control arm inwards or outwards for proper adjustment. This can be achieved by using a long pry bar with a curved tip and inserting the pry bar into the lower control arm frame brackets and prying inwards or outwards.
NOTE: Camber and caster adjustments must be made at the lower control arm. Do not use the upper control arm for Camber and Caster adjustments.
NOTE: When the lower control arm pivot bolts are loosened the lower control arm will normally go outwards automatically with the weight of the vehicle.
Moving the rear position of the lower control arm at the frame in or out, will change the caster angle significantly and camber angle only slightly. To maintain the camber angle while adjusting caster, move the rear of the lower control arm in or out. Then move the front of the lower control arm slightly in the opposite direction.
Move both the front and rear of the lower control arm together in or out. This will change the camber angle significantly and caster angle slightly.
After adjustment is made tighten the lower control arm bolt & nuts to FRONT169 N·m (125 ft. lbs.) and the REAR 88 N·m (65 ft. lbs.).
