Need advice on a setup

I've got 121K miles on my Commander now and I need to do some parts replacement as far as the suspension goes. I'm not looking to build it for offroad purposes, it's strictly a DD but for aesthetics I'd like to take the front rake out and bump the tire size up to 245/75 on stock rims.

At first i thought just a set of Rusty's leveling spacers and some stock spec shocks, then I got to thinking. I like the idea of the Bilstein 5100 adjustables for the front, set to 3/4 inch (lowest) just in case later i wanted to do a 2 inch lift all the way around. That led me to think even more (something I'm not paid to do so I don't do it very well) and I thought about the Bilstein 5100 adjustables on all 4 corners set to 3/4 inch with Rusty's leveling spacers in the front to take the rake out.

I haven't read about a setup like this and I have done some searching so forgive me if I'm asking a redundant question but .... is this setup feasible? And should i replace the UCA's with the JBA for a 2 inch lift for this setup? or go with stock height JBA UCA?

Keep in mind, I don't use this for offroad, just a lot of driving for work.

I appreciate any input

Me neither!

Not an expert but I'm pretty sure you don't need the JBA UCAs if you're only leveling. As long as you keep the bilsteins at the lower setting you should be fine. If you want new UCAs, look at the Moog problem solvers. Much cheaper. This is all advice I've gotten from other members on here. You should check my pretty recent thread about this. If you've got the money, go for the rusty's 2-inch lift coil springs, bilsteins, and the JBA UCAs. Or, just go ahead and get the OME lift from JBA, add the UCAs, and call it a day.

Thanks for the input Ben. After doing some thinking I went ahead and ordered the OME HD kit and new coil isolators all the way around and will order the JBA UCA's tomorrow. I'm looking at putting Cooper ST Maxx or Wrangler Duratrac in 255/75 to put it all on.

You really can't go wrong with the OME from what I've seen. I plan on ordering mine as soon as my wife lets me have the Commander when she gets something new. I think I'm going to go with 255s too. Post pics when you're done.
