Blistein 5100 shocks with RC Lift

So I found a killer deal locally on Bilstein 5100’s adjustable shocks all around and having mine already worn out, I pulled the trigger. I also picked up a 2” RC spacer lift. However, now I’m realizing they may not be compatible up front.

Note, I’ve already picked up a set of RRO upper control arm and ball joint combo so the angles there shouldn’t do me any harm.

Your input is much appreciated. I did a google search for a quick minute and couldn’t find this specific scenario.

The two systems can work together, but you'll end up sitting much higher in front than in back. 5100s shift your springs up by a set amount, with the minimum being 0.75". At stock height, this ends up getting the Jeep close to level, but the higher you go the more lift this generates, and stacked on top of an RC lift you'll be getting close to 2" of extra height over a standard RC lift.

Thanks, what if I run the 5100 up front on the OE spring and no spacer and the RC spacer in the rear?

Should have been a cowboy...

That should work alright if you set the 5100s at their max settings. The 2" of lift from them should work with the RC spacer in the rear.

Thanks, Iíll post pictures when they arrive this week.

So far my plan is:

Bilstein 5100s all around with the the fronts set to 2Ē
RC spacers in the rear
Wheel weld mod
1.5Ē wheel spacers
OEM Wheels wrapped in 265/70R17 Falken Wilkpeak AT3W

The weekend canít come soon enough.

Here is after the lift kit was installed, the front shocks are set to 2" and the RC rear puck is in place:

I can't comment on ride quality as all four of my shocks were shot and it sucked pretty bad. It's not bad at all though. I still kept a bit of the factory rake, which I don't really mind since my tires fit and my front bumper no longer feels like it is close hitting the ground.

Should have been a cowboy...

Looks great congrats! Looks like you got a really big lift off only 1.5 spacers. I can’t wait to get mine lifted although going to go for the OME as want the nice stuff ride as over here the roads are really undulating.

5.7 V8 Hemi!!!

Well for anyone wondering what it took to get this lift on my Jeep, here is a break down of what I paid. Please note, I did not pay labor on anything but an alignment and having a mom and pop shop mount and balance the tires, all taxes include NV sales tax:

Rocky Road Outfitters UCA for WK/XK: ~$450
Falken Wildpeak AT3W: $576.05
Bilstein 5100 shocks and struts: $378.35
SpiderTrax 1.5" wheel spacers: $216.28
Crown Automotive RT21038 Lift Level Kit(same as Rough Country): $122.75
SEARS Auto Center Alignment: $97.33
Wheel mount and balance: $60.00
Sale of old "take off" tires: -$250.00

Grand total: $1,650.76

Your lift looks great, but about the ride quality the question is, is the feel for the front end going to be on the stiff side because the spring is compressed more?
