sorry but someone told me adding a half inch to my front of my r.r. lift would give me and inch of lift. so trying that theory i added a half inch plate today and ended up with another half inch. imagine that. just thought i'd share. i'll get it level soon though.
I kinda want to respond since I,ve been installing leveling fits for 6 months now.
Something to keep in mind.
When the suspension was stock, the strut lower mounting point, I.E. lower control arm, was virtually level with the ground looking at mounting point on frame and following to ball joint.
At that time, installing a 1/4" spacer above the spring would result in about a 1/2" rise at the spindle. This was because the strut mounted about center on the lower control arm, between fulcrum(frame mount) and lower ball joint.
The next 1/4" spacer netted just under 1/2". This was because the lower control arm distance from fulcrum to strut mount was changing due to control arm now beginning to angle down. So, 1/2" equalled slightly less than 1".
To achieve a 1.5 leveling kit I had to utilize 7/8" spacer. All this because the control arm angle was changing. Had all things stayed equal, this would have resulted in a lift about 1/8" short of 2", but the changing angle precluded that.
Now, in your situation, you have already changed the control arm angle with your current lift, and as a result, that angle has created a situation where you are only achieving a 1 for 1 change or there about with your additional spacer.
