has anyone re geared there commander after a lift and bigger tiers to make up for lost power ??

I don't think there are parts available for the WK/XK platform. The best you can get is the factory 3.73 gearing, at least with the QDII option. The front differential is unique to the Grand Cherokee and Commander and my guess is there is not enough demand for someone to machine a ring and pinion to fit it in the 4.11 or 4.56 ratios. It would be nice, I only went to 265-70's and my XK will jump down to second gear at 65mph climbing some of the grades west of Denver. Though the hemi sounds nice at 4500rpm, it doesn't seem reasonable to have to run it that hard just to maintain the speed limit. I'd love some 4.11's or better.
