Code P3425 =

This one is complety my fault, just wonering why and how to fix it. I tried to do my mds indicator light last night and I though I had it. I used the brown and blue wire. I drove to school this morning and my check engine light went on. Strangely enough, the chime came on when my thermostat opend. I pulled a P3425 which is a Cylinder 4 Deactivation/Intake Valve Ctrl Circ/Open. I'm going to remove my wire I installed and disconnect the negative battery cable for a bit. Can anybody who has the indicator light working take a picture close up on the c1 connector. The only thing I can think of is I put a switch in the wire to control it. I pulled down my pannel under the drives side and zipped tied the switch to a metal connector. I used insolated wire and connectors, but i think maybe that i am contacting metal somewhere.

I'm an idiot. Just as I figured, my switch was gounding to the location I put it on. Pulled the zip ties off and let the switch hang, and everything works like a charm. If anyone needs any info on installing this pm me.

Wow! That terminal is CLOSE to the edge!

Try heat shrink tubing shrunk into place with a heat gun or Bic lighter.

You might even enlarge the hole first to get the contacts farther away.
