Exclamation DTC p0750 help

Hi there I am having trouble with my 2007 jeep commander 5.7. It has the 545rfe transmission and has 80 000km (50 000miles) what it is doing is when, driving about 100 to 120 kmph (60 - 75 mph) it will drop out of 5 gear into 4 and will stay there until u restart the SUV after pulling up the DTC I found the p0750 and doing some research i think it is the solenoid valve. I took it in to dodge and have them look at it first they did 8 flash updates as they were never done and sent me on my way. That lasted about 3 days the next time they changed the tranny oil and filters and that lasted till we took it on a drive on the hwy. when I took it into dodge there recommendation was to get a new transmission when I brought up the solenoid valve and the research I have done on the net I was told don't believe what I read on the internet. Seems there is something up when asking them if it had been tested I got the run around. I want to put it in myself it's not a hard part to install but it is a 500$ part up this far north so I'm asking for your advice I've had this jeep for 2 months now and it's turning into a heep I love my jeeps as I've had a yj when I was younger thank guys. HELP

Update

Just an update I have taken it to the tranny shop and at my request there rebuilding the valve body and replacing the solenoid I have been told by the tranny shop that they recommend pulling the tranny to look at the cluches since dodge had already changed the oil so they could not see filing in the pan and since the place I bought it from is paying 500 to it I am going to see what happens I will let everyone know what happens as it may help ppl in the future it it continues to have problems then it'll be selling the jeep or pulling the tranny

Fixed

An update for ppl I had the valve body rebuilt and a new silinoide installed. works great it's not having any more issues. I took it on a 2400km run from Edmonton Alberta to Vancouver B.C and back threw the Rockies and not going slow. Preformed great other the brutal on fuel lol. The only issue I had is the service 4wd came on when putting into low but I did the fuse pull thing I read about in other threads it work. I know I don't have any responses but I hope this helps someone in the future
