Code P0841 = Transmission Fluid Pressure Sensor/Switch A Circuit Range/Performance

Sorry for starting a new thread for Transmission Problems, but I just experienced the dreaded gear drop/check engine light/stuck in 3rd phenomenon that some of us have experienced. I was told the Scan Code was PO841 (LR Pressure Switch Rationality) as seen in TSB 21-007-06. From the description that the service tech gave me, I don't think anything was really done other then saying its not doing it now. Can someone translate what the PO841 code really means to me?

Also, now that the warm weather is coming back to WI, I am getting the Windshield Buzz/Humming sound when my windshield molding heats up. Asked them to fix this also, but was told (again) could not replicate/ we've never heard of this problem before?? Frustrating.

Also got the H19 Recall taken care of.. I swear I felt a "clunk" at around 40 mph this morning.. never felt that before. Again, frustrating.

Print a copy of the TSB and give it to them. If they still give you a hard time, speak to the manager. If there is a TSB on a problem, I always bring in the copy so it saves you a big hassle at the end.

I provided the TSB (RR#06-027) and they unclearly explained that this was a Rapid Response Transmittal that was Vehicle Specific and if there was a problem with my Jeep it would have been fixed before I bought it.. and since they can't replicate there is nothing they can do... it was a 10 minute phone conversation followed by a 10 minute face-to-face. They claimed it would be fraudulent to DC if they could not replicate and applied a fix. I asked if they didn't believe me that it was doing it.. round round, it went no where from there.

Neither do I. You need to get them (or you need to do it) to check to see if you have one of those faulty transmission filters as per TSB 21-007-06.

I just cannot beleive you have such poor dealers in the US, anything thats smells like warranty work here the dealer does it without hesitation.

when I had the towing electrics put in they starscanned it and found a couple of things told me parts were needed and when could they have the Jeep back to fix.

if its a TSB they need to do it DC wont complain if it leaves a happy customer who might buy another Jeep.
