GWNF Take Two!

Made my 2nd trip to George Washington National Forest. Only went with a couple friends this time not the whole Jeep crowd. Had a great time. Tried it without 4Lo and made it through just fine hardly any slipping. I was kinda disappointed the creek was pretty dry but we found the mud holes and got our feet wet! Hit a huge rock and it broke the stock skid plate for the front suspension. Nothing a couple zip ties couldn't fix. It's ok it gave me an excuse to get some steel skid plates. Before I go again i'll have Nitto Terra Grapplers and the rough country 2" lift. I can't wait!

So you have or had the plastic debris shield? That thing ain't made for hitting rocks bro you need to get skid plates if your going to continue going off road. There is a group going there Aug 18th I think it is maybe you can make out for that one.

Yea it's a debris shield but it saved a lot of damage from rocks. It's not made for it but on a minor trail it works just fine. Got a new steel one anyways and I'm getting bigger tires and a lift kit before the next trip so I'll be more prepared.
