Superlift Before and After Pictures

Hi All,
I had a lot of fun installing my Superlift kit recently, and wanted to share some before (with Rocky Road 2.25" lift) and after pics. The "afters" are kind of hastily shot, I will get some good ones from the trail posted as soon as I can.

Here are some pictures after the Superlift. The XK wasn't really level after the lift, so I fabbed up a 3/4 inch spacer that sits atop the superlift strut tower to give about 1.25" of lift at the wheel, and the Jeep is DEAD level when measured on the chrome side mouldings or rockrails. My 3/4" spacer is made up of two 3/8 inch plates, so one can be removed if I decided I wanted a bit of nose-down attitude.

Here you can see the extra spacer, the gold block is the Superlift strut tower, the gold spacer under it is the preload spacer, which is installed inside the strut, and the black puck all the way on the top is the 3/4" fabbed spacer:

These shots show the Superlift skidplate, followed by the 4XGuard belly guard, then factory t-case and fuel tank plates for a good, smooth sliding surface underside. (except the Magnaflow, which is open to trouble):

Note the really good ground clearance provided by the Superlift front skid/crossmember:

Well, it really is only a 2" difference between the two kits, but the RIDE of the Superlift is WAAAAYYYYY better than the spacers used in the RR kit. I also have WAY more clearance to run bigger tires, then maybe you could notice the difference more readily

You are always welcome to come by, maybe next time?
The 4X belly guard is a breeze - it bolts right in. The front guard is another story. It was designed for the WK, but will fit the XK with some trimming of the front fascia. I outlined some pointers for the modifiation in this thread:
