Broken trailer axle=great response from XK

I went to get my parent's boat for them when they were done their vacation (they were towing their camper behind me), and about 1.5hrs from home, while passing a car, the passenger side axle bracket breaks, the axle lets go and all hell breaks loose. Tore the wheel well right off. The Jeep was great, no pulling or anything, and I was able to stop without problem. Here's the XK and trailer while waiting for CAA to come to the rescue. (We bought a new trailer yesterday as the old one was a write-off).

Always a great way to end the holiday!

That sucks but glad everybody was okay. When I was first reading your thread, I thought the axles broke on the XK until I saw the pic.

Ahmed - It only changes the title on your post, not on the thread.
