3.7 does not have 4lo if it has 4wd. Many folks here are happy with
3.7. I wasn't when I was looking at the Commander.
I would go with the 5.7 if I could do it over, but the 4.7 has not
made me unhappy.

I think he's asking about a throttle body spacer for the 3.7 not the v6 xk as a whole.

i put the AirAid throttle body spacer on my 4.7L and i honestly did not notice any power gains,

that being said i did notice a crisper throttle response and that nice little hiss when the TB is opened up.

so in conclusion:
is it worth it? probably not your computer in the commander will compensate for the added part and basically void the throttle body spacer.

is it a total waste? not entirely the throttle response was better and im sure a little better flow of air to the TB doesnt hurt.

in the end its really up to you to decide weather you want to spend the money on something that will have minimal gains at best.

Not worth it, just another money maker from companys. Think about where the air has to go after it has been "swirled", it bounces around inside the intake manifold into the runners, then into the intake valves. Impossible to keep swirling after all that.
