It would be a good Amount of work, Including a front end and transfer case install. The xk has an electronic transfer case as well. If you went with the limited st up it includes a elsd front and rear and a low range transfer case. Expensive

So I would need to buy the front axle, drive shaft and transfer case? Would I need to buy a new tranny or does the transfer case hook on mine? I heard the old tranny you can do that. Do the 4wd commanders have auto 4wd and is there just a button you push. I was reading something about the 4wd commander always on from a old post. I don’t know much yet, I'm still learning things every day about my commander. Thanks for the info.

It would be cheaper to sell your Jeep and buy a 4wd one
