Front CV Replacement

I have an 06 5.7 Limited. Starting to hear a pop at 75% or more wheel turn so I guess its time to replace the front CV's. Does anyone out there have some insight as to what type (brand) to replace them with? Since I plan to put the 4" superlift on it, should I hold off doing this as I am not sure if it will need different lenghts at that point?

Thanks in advance

A discussion at this link is about different CV axles, prices and part numbers.

You should not need a different length.

Fwiw I had a napa replacement that 20k miles later is clicking, replaced the pem due to a ripped boot. I'm going back to a mopar oem replacement one, they seem to be tougher.

Just did the passenger side CV axle, with beefier RS4 axle. Guys - this job is a piece of cake.....once you take the time to remove the CV boot heat shield(three 6mm Allen heads). Stick a flat head screwdriver into the front rotor hole and freely turn/lock the wheel in neutral, completely without an assistant. Use a 3ft + breaker bar to get that final 180deg turn on the 17mm axle bolt and it's DONE!!!
