XJ to XK

Hey everybody! I recently bought an 07' XK limited with the hemi and QDII. It has 92k on the clock and is my new daily/weekend overlander. I already have a 4" superlift ordered in the mail and I'm eyeballing some AEV wheels to throw on it.

The XK is my second car, first being my 01' XJ that I got a couple years ago and built myself. It was seriously capable everywhere except it struggled on the highway and in Texas theres a lot of those. I also could've really use the room for gear when on adventures.

I really got into commanders when my jeep club was in kentucky for a trail ride event. We ended up coming across a guy in a commander. He had just bought it and took it out so we let him tag along with us for a while. Even though he was on street tires, he hung with us well. He eventually had to turn around because of a tight turn with a rock on the inside that would have been the end to his rocker panel. Still, it kinda planted a seed in the back of my mind.

Anyways, I'm glad to be here and hopefully I can contribute to the forum some!
