First time poster, long time lurker

Finally getting around to making an introduction post. My commander and I live in Carmel Indiana and she is a 2006 Limited with a Hemi. She has been my daily driver since I got her back in 2011. This was the car that I wanted, searched for and finally found one day sitting on a lot waiting for me. Big fan of the Commanders and have loved looking around the forums and checking out all the sweet setups. My Commander has moved from being my completely stock daily driver to now being my second car. My plans are to try to set her up as more of an overlanding type rig. This will be our getaway vehicle after a long weeks work. Nothing crazy but I want something we can hop in with the dogs and get off the beaten path with for a while. Looking forward to picking everyone’s brains about ideas and hopefully getting some good advice along the way.

Thumbs up Dogs

Welcome to the forum, our Commander holds all 3 dogs pretty well when the 3rd row in folded down. they would prefer more room but will lay down when in motion.

Ha ha yeah my kids do pretty good back there too. Having the rear AC on keeps them happy. Keeping the rear glass clean of nose prints is an ongoing labor of love though.

I had a Black Lab as a kid.

Brings back some memories.

Alaskan Malamutes. They are 10 years old now, so rather than jumping in the back, it's become a "hey dad, lift me up" thing when we go for a ride.
