Happy New Owner

Hi all. Just purchased a 2007 green limited w/ 99k miles. Its in overall good shape; just needs a few minor things. Right now, I'm just doing my research and looking for a factory REF radio w/ aux input to replace the 6disc changer. We plan to use this as our travel and road trip vehicle. Coming from an 2010 outback and 1999 cherokee before that, this thing is a beast.

Looking for some info on the rear hatch interior panel. I have rectangular trim piece missing in the middle of the door. What is it and how can I get one?

I have had my rear interior hatch panel completely off to do an upgrade adding a couple of extra LED's back there;

If I'm correctly picturing what you are talking about - I think that's just an access panel.

You should be able to order one at either of these places;

That's just the access panel.

If you search for that on amazon, they will give you the option to check the fitment against the year and trim package of your Commander.

That might be the way to go.

ha...im not much of a poster. Well, the xk will be half daily driver and half road trip warrior. My first mod will be an aux in adapter that I scored on this forum. Not sure about anything else yet. Maybe a slight lift, tires, and hd suspension but we will see. We drove out west to the Grand Canyon and southern Utah last year in the Outback. We found some dirt roads but there were so many other paths to take but didnt feel comfortable. Want to change that with the xk and explore some of the unpaved byways as we road trip. I looked at LR3/4s, 4runners, etc. but kept coming back to the Commander. Found a deal locally and here I am.
