Smile Hello!

Hiya, I've been on this forum for a while now gathering info to help me with the purchase of my Commander. Well I've bought it now, so thought I'd drop in and say hi. It's a 2006 Limited CRD in Black. It has 20 inch Startech wheels (which will probably be coming off for something smaller) and is QD2. It does need some TLC (mostly inside) but seems to be mechanically sound. It is very refined.

Here it is, hope you like it...

Cheers, Will.

Welcome to the forum.

That looks really nice! I really like those wheels on there, how come you want to get rid of them?

Welcome to the forum and that's a nice looking Commander you have there I know I wouldn't mind having the diesel option on mine.

Smile Thanks

Thanks for the comments guys,

I love it. The reason I'm thinking about changing the wheels is because I don't think it will be much use off-road with those 20's on. However, I am no expert and am happy to be corrected! I would like to lift it a bit and put smaller wheels but bigger tyres on, perhaps 32" or so. The look I want to go for is more the off-road look as opposed to the pimp look haha. I probably wont do too much off-roading but would still like it to be decent when I do.

Cheers, Will.

I just noticed the turn indicator on the front wing. Was that factory or aftermarket?

I think its factory mate. In the UK, I think it's a requirement.

Yeah, I've always been a fan of those. Not enough cars in the states have them I'm afraid.

Anyway, sharp looking Commander for sure! If it was mine, I'd keep it the way it is. I really like the look especially if your almost never going to be off road.

Side note: That 3.0 turbo has the most torque of all the engines offered stateside. I think only the last year Hemi had a touch more but not much.

Thats a purdy commander. So jealous of the 3.0l and those wheels do look nice on it. They tie into the front bumper accent nice. But I agree they are pretty useless off road and are probably expensive enough that by selling them you could buy some 17s and tires. Looks sharp mate.
