2006 5.7L Hemi Limited Commander - Strut clevis bolts and antifreeze leaks

So I bought my first jeep last month knowing that I had some repairs to do like the struts, flickering dash lights, non-functioning pedal adjustments, and new tires. Thanks to all the posts about the creative ways to replace the struts without removing the seized up lower clevis bolt! After about a couple weeks of researching and obsessing, I managed to get my Bilstein 4600 struts put in without breaking out the cutting torch! That was a relief. I did cross thread a sway bar end link bolt on the lower control arm during reassembly....so that's my next fix, a minor one hopefully.

I also found an antifreeze leak a day or two after getting it home, surprise surprise. It threw me off for a while but after tightening the upper hose at the radiator I see that the water pump is most likely the culprit.

Anyway, I've spent a lot of time looking through the forums, looking forward to contributing.

Here are notes that I found in some other forums. Once I catch up on my maintenance stuff, I'll be giving this a shot:

"Pedals not adjusting:
• Check switch
• Check for stuck pedal, lube it if so.
• The gas pedal bracket has a metal worm gear that spins a plastic gear and the plastic gear split in one spot. It jammed the whole thing and they only moved an 1/8th of an inch. If you take off the black panel under dash (2 Phillips head screws), and pull down on the panel right under the steering wheel you can gain access to the motor and cable. The motor that moves the pedals is attached to the brake pedal and there is a cable that goes to the gas pedal bracket. If you follow that cable to the top of the gas pedal there is a plastic clip that you can squeeze together with a pair of needle nose pliers and pull the cable out. Then press the switch and see if the brake pedal moves freely to full adjustments. If it does then chances are you need the gas pedal bracket which is separate part from actual gas pedal w/switch. The part is about $90 online.
• If you look at the gas pedal at the top you will see a plastic clip of you squeeze the two tabs in the cable will slide out...See if the brake pedal now adjusts up and down with the switch...if it does you'll prob need part #52109759AD which is the adjustable bracket that the gas pedal mounts to."

I managed to tap out the hole in the lower control arm for the sway bar end link bolt today, went a heck of a lot easier than I thought it would. I put the rear shocks on pretty quickly, no stuck bolts! But then I saw something wrong with the lower mount of the spring for the rear axle. Looks like I'll be replacing that soon....

Changed the front and rear diff fluid today too. I thought the fluid was supposed to be clear but it was dirty red in the front, almost like ATF.
