I am having alarm issues. The key fob died a few years ago and been using the regular key. When I unlock the doors with the key the alarm goes off until I start the jeep (no big deal-disconnected horn so only lights flashing). Yesterday was not the case, nothing I can do will turn off the alarm so I had to drive home from work with the light flashing. I have taken out the wireless control module and was able to deactivate it so Jeep is running fine but can't get the light to stop flashing. Read that may be an issue in the door latch connection? It has stopped locking with the inside door button. Is there a way to bypass? I have read maybe ground one of the wires to the lock?

Really frustrated

Your problem is self inflicted.

Most likely you will have to do the walk of shame to your local FCA/Jeep dealership to have your alarm reset and order a new set of Key FOBS, I really don't see any way around that.

You can try to disconnect the battery for about 20 minutes and then reconnect it and see if that might reset your alarm.
