Finally found my Commander

Hello, Forums members. Big jeep and 4x4 fan. I have a 1993 YJ, 2001 Cherokee, a 2008 WK, and a 2003 Land Rover Discovery. I have been looking f0r a commander to fit my three boys and dogs in for camping trips and I am happy to report I scored exactly what I was looking for. In August I picked up a 2006 Limited 5.7 QDII. Just passed 140k and it is in great shape. I have completed a RRO 2.5" lift and I am fixing the myriad of ankle biter issues that come with a thirteen year old vehicle. I am also in the process of "De-Chroming" the whole thing. I just want it Black!
Anyway, thanks for all of the great info here, I will be lurking around and will be asking for help whenever I need it. Thanks!

And I couldn't agree more, it's one of the first things I did to my Commander.

I will be lurking along with you. I also want to "black-out" my Commander in the future....I just have to run down a few issues with it right now.
I will be looking forward to future photos from you, looking for ideas.

Good Luck!!
