Hi everybody, Hi dr. nick..
I haven't yet had the pleasure or joining or using a forum. but that was until now... but I had checked out this forum when I was looking up some info for my beast when in need of some tlc... and through your members past experiences i was able to find solutions to my jeep and get some different ideas also. but today i decided to make the leap and join the forum to ask for your opinions and help for my 2008 jeep commander ltd with 4.7l v8 that has been in the family since 2008 with 10,900km... now at 256,000km and counting without the beast giving me no crap other than routine maintenance and having to replace my waterpump about a year ago... and even after getting kissed in the back then front 5 months ago at the same time... and was hospitalized having me fight insurance to revive it once again. but even with that, my beast hasn't missed a beat and still drives like when i first brought it home... hands down best vehicle I've had the pleasure to own.. but not sure if i am doing this correctly, but i wanted to ask other members for some help/advice or whatever they wanna through my way... so my Jeeps stereo hasn't work for a bit, i'll say... but when I checked the amp and the connecting wire harness, like many, water had corroded the connection on the both parts... so i had a old amp kicking around and wanted to replace the oe amp for now to get some radio to listen to on my commute.. but the amp i wanted to replace it with is not fitted to take the existing wire harness set up but wire ring terminal or other similar type... and been trying to find the car radio wiring guide for my year 2008 but couldn't find one anywhere. i found every other years radio wiring though!! lol.. so if there is anyone that could help me out in pointing me to the right direction it'd be greatly appreciated... and if what Im trying to do for a temp fix id not advise please let me know.. thanks for the help in advance...
