Exhaust Manifold Leak

I just took off my leaking Drivers side exhaust manifold because of 2 rear broken bolts. Got the bolts out but I have to grind the manifold on the 2 center ports to make all 4 flat across. How common is this and how even do they have to be???

@ricks;

Next time you any kind of job like this, take some pictures and post them with your narrative; The write up is helpful but a picture is worth a thousand words, as the saying goes; Particularly for those who might not be as mechanically inclined and may not know exactly what to look for.

It was tight in there. Had to remove the battery, battery tray and all the fuse boxes to get in there. Lots of wire harnesses to move around too.
