Low voltage can cause all sorts of weird things in engines, especially with how complicated and computer based most engines are these days.

Blue is right about the corrosion. And that yellow wire seems to be the culprit for a few other completely unrelated issues that have popped up....ie: false Transmission Over Temp warnings

2006 Dark Khaki Limited, Hemi, QD-II w/ all the options.
Inertia Performance Heads, Full SRT 6.1 Valve Train, Custom Crower Cam, Double Roller Timing Set, Trend Performance forged Pushrods, High PSI Oil Pump, ARH Long Tube Headers and Mids, Borla Catback, aFe Stage 2 Intake, AEM X-Series WB UEGO & 100psi Oil Guages, PowerStop Drilled & Slotted Rotors, MDS On Light, Kenwood in-dash Nav, HID Projectors and full LED lighting upgrade

Need to get it on a dyno....

If it is the yellow wire most likely it will leave you stranded 1 day. "Normally" the yellow wire starts off as a no crank intermittent issue. I just replaced my harness once this started. 25K miles later no issues.

Well, The yellow wire was fine. The battery totally died, and found that the alternator was fried... even though it passed the test 2 weeks ago. Plan on putting it in this weekend.
We will see if that is all....

I worked at an auto parts store a couple decades ago and at least back then, the test equipment didn't always tell the truth. Not much of a surprise to me that your alternator tested good but ended up failing. Depending on what failed first, the battery may have taken the alternator out or vice versa. I've always liked having an amp gauge and volt gauge for knowing what's going on but amp gauges are rare in cars.

A bad alternator makes perfect sense Jeff, based on the symptoms you described;

The only reason I didn't mention that initially, is because you said you had it checked already and it checked out fine.

Easy day, if that's all it was.

Can't really see the lights in the grille/visor, but, I'll bet it's a blast to drive.
