New Alpine HU won't turn off with Satellite - need help

I just installed a new Alpine receiver (CDA-105) into my 2006 Commander with Sirius satellite (via the Alpine KCA-SC100) but now the head unit won't turn off unless I press power on it. When I first installed the radio everything worked fine....it stayed on until I opened the door just like the factory stereo which was the base model (not the boston acoustics). After installing the satellite receiver the system won't turn off at all unless I press the power button on the HU. Key in or out, door opened, etc...makes no difference.

I ran the power from the left cigarette lighter to the alpine sat. interface.

For the connection to the radio I used the Axxess harness XSVI-6502.

Any help or ideas would be appreciated!

run the power to the same location as you did with the HU. The sat reciever is constantly staying on keeping the alpine headunit on via the ai-net cable.

That would be my best guesse without seeing it in person.
