It's part of the whole dash. Am I correct on this?
I just tried calling the dealer today and they said the double din bezel is no longer sold by them. I have a '07 with the khaki interior with the same audio setup as you. THIS is the only option we have for a factory look, however, the color is grey.

Anyone know if the khaki color interior is called dark khaki on the dashboard? I want to look into some interior paint.

My 2006 Jeep Commander Limited Aftermarket Radio

Ok Guys i had the 6 dsc Sat Factory radio taken out and replaced with a pioneer 3200 bt with Nav. My commander has the Boston AC system, and every since i had Wee Bee Audio install the new system my sound qaulity went down hill. I see all these posts that speak of the AMP which i'm no expert when it comes to car stuff. But does anyone have any idea why my sould quality if not like it use to be from the stock radio? I can be cc at [email protected] I'm taking my jeep into Best Buy to see about having an over Monitor installed for the rear passanger i may have their tecs take a look at the hookup that Wee Bee Audio did. Thanks every.

cico7 bryce - not too difficult of a task.
what do you want in the unit?
My Kenwood came with the NAV installed. Craigslist or ebay could possibly get a snap in (so to speak) replacement. Check the for sale section here 1st though.

I'm in a bind because my factory unit (has sat, nav, and 6 disc cd for 2006 XK) has basically died. I only get radio preset stations and the nav screen is totally black. I took out the unit and couldn't diagnose any problems (I'm the opposite of an expert). I called several dealerships and depending on who you talked to in the parts department, a replacement radio costs $675 to $2250 (yes, I was quoted $2250!).

Does anyone have any better ideas, suggestions, or hints? I'm going to have the dealership order a radio because I was quoted $760 a month ago and I'm going to try and get them to stick to the price. I've got a 10 hour vacation drive in two weeks (Nebraska is tough place to live without a radio) so I'm scrambling for answers. Anything would help!

Kansas1230 Ebay. There's lot's of REC units floating around out there and I am sure you can pick one up for a decent price. And if you were able to take the old unit out I would assume you could get the "new" unit in and not have to bother with and labor costs.

alopez1334 Its a 6 cd changer, but besides that I think you just need the rec unit, wiring harness and you will need to route GPS antenna.

LIF I would like to change from the 5 cd radio that I have in the dash in my 2006 Commander to the GPS unit. What is involved?
