That's a pretty broad question. I'd say most V8's would fit since the Hemi is so wide, but where you are going to run into the most problems is matching up the rest of the drivetrain (i.e. GM LS engine may not bolt up to a Chrysler engine) unless you have adapters. Not sure if they even may them for the Commmander.
Mating up the trans/drivetrain, as well as fabricating the custom engine mounts would be the easy part. The hard part is going to get the engine management to work with the rest of the vehicles electronics. Of course you could toss the rest of the vehicles electronics and just rewire the whole vehicle old school, but I wouldn't be surprised if that disables the BAS/EAS/Traction and Stability Controls.
