Ive seen many posts but nothing seems to be working.
My husband has been unable to get the front driver side window up. he checked the fuses --not that
He bought a new oem switch - same didnt work
when we push the switch you dont hear anything coming from the motor for the driver side but it will work the other 3 windows.
I bought a window regulator and he said that still didnt work.
He thinks it maybe an actulator?

Anyone else experience this?? Suggestions?
at this point he has pcp pipe and wood holdinging up the window

if the actulator didnt work then what could it be??
all other windows work but the drivers side.
Is this something a dealer can fix?

Id start by checking the wiring And all connections in that door very closely...looking for corrosion or a broken wire.

^^yeah. Pull back the boot in between the body and door where the wires enter the door and look for broken wires. This is a very common problem in many vehicles, especially SUVs it seems.

The quick way to verify is with an electrical tester. You can test for voltage at the different components until you find the break. I would bet it's a broken wire in your door boot.
