I have a 2" spacer lift that has worked fine for 1yr then I upgraded to 5100 shocks a few months ago on the lowest setting and now stuff is breaking on the same trail i have been gong on for a over a year. i think the added lift from the 5100 has put my suspension at its limit and now the tie rods are limiting travel. I have broken a few tie rods and if i dont catch the snapped tie rod immediately it usually ends with a broken cv shaft.
my question is can i remove the front spacer and still maintain a level ride with the rear 2" lift. im serioulsy thinking of going to the superlift 4" but wanted to know who was running 5100's and if your having any issues. any recommendations. will the bilsteins lift the front 2" without the spacer" or will the added spring compression just make it ride rougher on the hwy?

here is my suspension setup:
08 Commander with 5.7L
RC 2" spacer lift
JBA UCA
Bilstein 5100 front/ back
265/70/17 tires
