I just started hear a whirring sound , possibly from tranny. I even the motor slightly and the noise speeds up with revs. I moved the vehicle about 50 yds. Tranny operates fine. Could this be due to low fluid in tranny?

No - the engine fan. Open the hood and have someone rev the engine while you look and listen. Keep your fingers away.

Dude it's way beyond that. Not my first rodeo. I said a bell type sound. Not metal on plastic sound. Yeah I also made sure my tie didnt get close to the fan either.

Back in the day - I used to service business equipment and had to wear a suit and tie. Always wore a snap on tie so I didn't get sucked into the gears :p
