Hey Everyone,

Just looking for some input, suggestions or some expertise. My Commander has been overheating, I replaced water pump, thermostat, radiator cap. Ran fine for about two weeks then began overheating randomly. It runs fine then overheats. Any other diagnostic steps I need to take? I like my Jeep, just looking for answers.
Thanks

Yes sir! I just changed the radiator, water pump, thermostat, and the #2 spark plug coil, I think it’s going to be a head gasket no smoke out of the pipe but smoke from the back of the engine. What do you think?

Agree with Creek...sounds like a headgasket. I had similar sporadic overheating. I was able to see exhaust gases lightly frothing my coolant at the relief hex bolt by the top radiator hose on cold start. I opted for a modified head rebuild rather than rather than a Jasper rebuild in order to save a couple grand. Interested to find out what you do
