Good day all,

I purchased a 2007 Overland Commander on Friday.

It has 108K miles and is in very nice condition.

I put about 250 miles on it on Saturday and it ran very well except the check engine light came on and it didn't get the fuel mileage I was hoping for. The AC was also really weak.

It'll go into the mechanic this week for a good checkup and AC charge.

I'm hoping to get a good sized roof rack for it, a small lift to level it and fit a little larger tire, and probably some aux. lighting.

I'll also do a cold air intake, possibly an exhaust, and a tuning chip.

I'm looking forward to learning a lot about the vehicle and getting your experiences so I have a better idea of how to make it into what will work best for me.

I had an '87 XJ cherokee years ago and have wanted to get back to that style jeep for a while. I am no longer needing to have a truck with all my tools on a regular basis.

I live in the mountains of northern Arizona and have a plethora of roads and trails that are perfect for exploring with the Commander.

I'll get some pics of the Jeep up soon. It's silver and factory stock right now.

I just bought a 2007 Overland with 133k miles. I am not sure gas mileage and commander can go in the same sentence. Must be nice to need AC. We have been in quite the cold snap around here in Ohio. Welcome to the forum!

Welcome!

Stop by an AutoZone or other store like it and have them read the DTC code and let us know what you find out. May be an issue that we can help you with and save you a few bucks along the way.
