So, I bought a 2008 Steering wheel for my 2006, mainly to just upgrade the cosmetics, since the new wheel is leather-wrapped & has the chrome pieces. My existing steering wheel is a rubber-like feel, and not fancy at all.
The Steering wheel should bolt up just fine, but.....
Here are my questions:
1. I noticed that the airbag is different. So, will it work with the existing wiring? has anyone done this? I dont want to spend a fortune on a new airbag.
2. I am wondering if my factory radio (does NOT currently have radio controls on steering wheel) will work with the 2008 steering wheel controls. In other words, is it already pre-wired for that (like the fog lights)?

Installed a pioneer 2440 double din had to use a dodge ram mount and had to have my amp bypassed but I love it. Also did my first shot at wrapping my steering wheel in paracord might redo it but good enough for my first attempt took me about an hour and a half watched a movie while I did it lol...
Has anyone been able to modify the seat track so it will slide back another 1 to 2 inches? My wife hits her knees on the dash when she gets in. Ok before the funny comments. She is disabled and the extra space would be a big help. Thank you all.
