2010 jeep commander
2010 jeep commander sport 3.7L 4wd.
Runs weird, sometimes it gets stuck at 2500 rpm’s and won’t shift and other times it shifts really hard and kicks kinda like it’s stalling. Shows [p] [r] [n] [d] random lights turn on and gauges start going crazy. Has 192,000 miles it’s been having this problem for a while now

Sounds like it may be time for a new TCM, or, a new PCM.2010 jeep commander sport 3.7L 4wd.

There is a speed sensor - about $250 from O'Reilly's that sits under the transmission valve assembly that is covered by pan. My 08 3.7 had similar symptoms but I confirmed with OBD scanner which is a must if you are going to Successfully own and enjoy a Commander. Scan for codes - I'll bet you have a CEL on now.
