well its time for new rubber....i have been debating on which tires to get and i have decided i want the 265/70R17...but i was at my local tire shop yesterday and they have a set of goodyear MTRs in a 245 for half price...

problem is i cant remember if they are 245/70 or 245/75...can some one post pics of their commander with 245/70s and or 245/75s with a 2" lift?

I think you may want to skip the 245/70/17...

Stock 245/65/17 is 29.5" rolling diameter.
Upsize 245/75/17 is 31.5" rolling diameter.

Maybe go with a 255/70/17, which is 1/2" wider and is 31.1" rolling diameter. Nice compromise...

Just a thought......

I have 245/70s on mine and I'm not complaining. My commander is stock for now but ive seen pictures of a lifted one and it doesn't look naked or anything. It's the largest tire I would try stock and the smaller of the end of what I would imagine would be practical lifted. It barely misses rubbing (which I'm glad about for now) I'm putting on wheel spacers when I do lift it though to make it have a wider stance.
