I've seen a lot of different information on here about whether or not 245/75s fit on stock without a lift and I just wanted to confirm that these wrangler ATs do fit my stock suspension commander, no rubbing at full lock and they clear the upper ball joint bolt by about 3/4 inch.

I wouldn't take it off-roading but its doing fine driving it around town and over speedbumps. The struts and shocks are original and in need of replacement also so its not clearing because of those. I guess its because these tires taper in a bit where a wider meatier tire would likely rub or even hit the ball joint bolt.

I'll be adding a 2.5inch front and 2inch rear leveling spacer lift in the next month or so to make sure its good to drive over stuff.

245/75/17 KO2's also fit, I had them before I did the lift. No rubbing, but it did bottom out on the most minor of bumps. I installed new struts/shocks when I did the lift so not sure if it was the struts or the tires fault.

Now It's the same amount you're planning to lift, so this is how it'd look. (with a much worse off driver fender 😅 ) I figured I'd wear out these stock tires before getting new ones, but it's still at like, 7/32nds after 30k miles and I'm afraid I'll be stuck with these undersized looking tires for a looong while
