If you don't currently own a Commander @lee.geoff2015 - which is what you said in your profile why are you talking about running 33's on yours?

If you don't currently own a Commander @lee.geoff2015 - which is what you said in your profile why are you talking about running 33's on yours?Has anyone been able to find a 3-4" lift since the last posting? I really want to run 33s when I buy mine and cant find kits anywhere. if there are not kits can some one give me a parts list of what worked for them so achieve that lift? I want it to still ride well so I'm willing to spend the money and do it right.
Also, when a commander is lifted to that height what are some issues that arise?
I gotcha.Yes I currently do not own one but I am actively looking and have been for some time. When I do find the one I am after I plan on lifting it to fit 33" tires and turning it into my wheeling rig. I am new to the commander model (Had an XJ prior) and just wanted to reach out to folks here to get my game plan set so I can begin to make moves as soon as I get it.
Not sure this helps if you're dead-set on 33s, but I'm running 32s with just a 2 inch RC lift and no spacers or pinch weld modification. However, I do think it's my specific tire brand/model ( 255 75 17 Bridgestone Dueler A/T rh-s ) as many do get rubbing with this set-up.Has anyone been able to find a 3-4" lift since the last posting? Thanks @lee.geoff2015 ; It's the 4 inch Superlift on 33 inch tires. LT285/70/17 Good Year Wrangler DuraTracs.Dang I'm jealous Big Blue, your commander is real sick. That's a similar look I'm going for. Is your lift a 3" or 4"? Hopefully i can find a great XK here soon and get started on my rig.
A little bit confusing - who were you asking?yeah that's exactly what I'm planning on doing. Do you know a part list of the items that made up that lift? How does she drive with that setup?
I can't list all the parts verbatim, but, I can show you a pic;Sorry I apologize for the confusion. I was asking you Big Blue
As for the ride, it rides & takes the bumps fine, but, you can feel the difference when turning (wider turning radius now) & in the handling in general.Dang that’s a lot of parts. I better get looking for everything. Test drove my first commander yesterday and loved it. I’m definitely hooked. Unfortunately it wasn’t the right one for me.
What kit @lee.geoff2015 ?Anybody have experience with this kit? I am wondering if I could use it as a starting point and then add new coils and such. Thoughts?
Never heard of them;Oops, I Apologize. Below. Seems like a very lean kit

Sweet couple of Jeeps!! Hey, just as a side note, when this pic was taken I had a smaller size tire vs the 275 55 17 (32") I have currently installed. Thanks @lee.geoff2015 ; It's the 4 inch Superlift on 33 inch tires. LT285/70/17 Good Year Wrangler DuraTracs.
From a ride height standpoint, not much of a difference at all, between @Arapahoe & I.
Here is a pic of us side by side, from last year's Florida meet & greet, he has a very nice set-up.
