Anyone know a good place to mount 2 amps so that you dont loose any cargo space?
I have some equipment i want to install in my commander that I had in my last car. I have already got the adapters for the speakers and everything else I should need. The amps I have are a 4 channel JVC and a mono Pheonix Gold.
I want to mount them somewhere out of the way so I can take out my sub box if I will need the 3rd row or have to haul anything in the back.
Is under the front seats a good location?
Any other places that 2 amps could fit?

I only have 1 amp and I installed it in the netted cubby hole on the drivers side in the third row. Right below the aux power plug. Not sure where you'll be able to fit a 2nd one that's out of the way. Let us know if you come up with a good location. My only other alternative was to mount the amp to the box, but that would be too time consuming to disconnect and remove the box I think.

I had an amp mounted on the top of a box when I was stationed in Japan and use to race on the weekends. Was not a problem disconnecting at all. I took it out every Sunday (race day). Just make sure you cover up the ends of the hot wire.

Mine is on the back of the middle second row seat right behind my box. The box covers the back of the driver's side seat and and about half of the middle seat. That way I can still put down the passenger side seat and have some space for long items.

Mines on the box, what I did is took a heavy duty wiring harness like the kind used with trailers and wired it in. So, it's plug and play to take the Box and amp out.

I am thinking about removing the little storage area for the jack. I beleive I can fit both of my amp there.
I'll have to do some measuring this weekend.
I'll just get a little bottle jack that fits in the glove to replace the stock one.
