I was given an opportunity I couldn't pass on. I've gotten back into Law enforcement and like the flashy lights!
I was thinking of putting clear strobes in my Bright light housing in front and back up lights on rear. Has anyone done this. Any good strobe light kits recommended? Web site writeups anyone has come across? I once saw a WK that had lights as I described in Mexico Beach,FL.

If you have fog lightsI would suggest using strobes in them rather than your head light fixture...only for possible moisture breach, and the fact that i know there are certain vehicles that don't agree with fooling with the electrical wiring dealing with the lights in the head light (Dodge RAM models)

you may want to contact member WileyNJ. From the pic I can see there are some kind of strobes on his XK but it is a small pic and hard to see what is going on.

I have had a six strobe kit for many years. As continue ( slowly ) to work on my jeep, I plan on evaluating possible locations for their installation. I'll let you know if I do and where I install them.

I just had a cheap set of controllable LEDs I got from Autozone. I put the controller in the location on the drivers side where a lot of guys mount CBs. I put them in my hi beams and fog lights. No drilling!! Took bulbs out, dropped LED in with wire hanging through and put bulb back in. Worked great until the cheap LEDs melted from heat. I plan on buying same cheap kit because they are bright enough for me, at night anyway. Put them in front turn signals and back up lights this time though. I like it because no drilling!!

I was able to install strobes in the front marker lights. I am planning to put one in ea. rear backup and lower brake light some time in the future. First time doing it, was a little nervous. Practiced drilling the 1" holes on scrap plastic. Will try to provide photos sometime in the future.

Just got my 4 head strobe unit installed... Used the Recon Xenon kit, very simple and easy to install, just hated drilling 1 inch holes in the light housings....

I did finish installing all 6 strobes. Dealer still has her ( over 3 weeks now ). Hopefully in the next couple weeks I can have time to post some photos. I have always installed lights, speakers (sirens) radios and antennas etc., first time drilling plastic for strobes, but I agree it was easy.
