Hello I'm new I would like to know if I take the rear axle assembly out of 2007 grand Cherokee and install in 2007 commander the ratio in command is 373 Cherokee is 307 what kind of problem would I have

2 wheel drive? Obviously if your Commander is 4x4 this won’t work without regearing the front axle. I’m not sure if there will be issues with a 2wd, I wouldn’t think so.

Thank you but that 307 rear end was leaking oil from both ends I didn't even mess with it , I' know where a 2007 commander is at a salvage yard , I just hope it is open with this virus stuff around . Again thank you have a good night and stay safe
