I have a BDS 2" lift and want to install 245/75/17 tires, tire discounters is saying it can't be done due to the stud/bolt. How are people getting around this?

Spacers, or grinding off the end of the stud; but I wouldn't be too worried about that size.

I'm running 245/75/17 Bridgestone Revo 2s currently with spacers, but previously without and there was no problem at all. I had plenty of space to the stud. In fact, I had no rubbing until I added the spacers (wheel liner, not the stud).

Edit:

Here's a picture of the culprit with stock wheels and no spacers and the aforementioned 245/75/17 Revo 2s. It's possible you'll be closer depending on the tire you choose if you pick something with more meat and less taper on the sidewalls than the Revo 2s. It may seem kinda close, but this is not a dynamic clearance, meaning it won't get closer/further away as the suspension works.

245 is the width of the tire. That is stock tire width. Your fine.Tell them to mount it and see.

Most 255's fit fine as well.
