bilstein 5100 vs 4600 (for superlift)

Hi guys, this month I might make the change over to the superlift from the OME HD and have thrown out my stock shocks (due to lack of storage ? ....) I will need new shocks.

I would love some coilovers but dont want to spend that much, so I have narrowed it down to the 4600 and 5100. I do not think I will need more lift in the future since I just want to correct the geometry.

I hear that the 5100 give .75 lift in the front, so will the 4600 be my best bet?

I'm only running the 4xguard matrix in the front.

The 5100s will lift you too high in the front. Given the change in geometry with the Superlift, it won't be a problem as far as suspension angles go, but you will need to lift the rear with a spacer or different springs to get your Jeep level again.

4600s are the better choice if you just want to stick with a stock Superlift.

Thats what i was thinking, plus can save some money.
I have the OME heavy duty springs front and rear on my Hemi Commander along with Bilstein 5100 shocks all around. When I first put them on the front was slightly higher than the rear. The OME springs are setup for having the weight of a winch on the front and the Bilstein front shocks allow for a .75 inch extra lift than standard on the lowest setting. I added a .75 inch spacer on the rear and this evened out everything fine. The lift is about 2.5 to 2.75 from stock and works very well.

Where did you get the .75 inch spacer for the rear?

I made them out of some other spacers I had left over from some other project. Had to open them up on my lathe to fit.
Interestingly enough, I run the 5100 setup but with OME HD rear and regular front; the plan is to get a steel rear bumper and just a bully bar up front. After it took its time to settle, everything is completely level. I'll get pics of it later.
