Bilstein 5100s

We have a commander that will be pulling a 5500lb boat and a 6800lb travel trailer. I am in need of replacing the rear shocks. I have read that the Cherokee shocks fit the commander just fine and that they are the best of both worlds for both towing and commuting. Does anybody have any experience with this and if so can you help guide me to the actual model number of the shocks. I would like to install this weekend if possible.

these guys have a number of comparison videos on you tube and I received my bilsteins quickly. the similar year grand cherokees should be the same

Thank you. I ordered them through quadratec they were just slightly more but they had an option to have them delivered by tomorrow for an extr $20. Shocksurplus was about $20 cheaper but there were no options or guesstimate on when they might arrive or no way to upgrade to a quicker shipping time. But an awesome site they have.
I have the Bilstein shocks on my Commander. I also have the OME springs all around. I tow an RV that weighs around 6000lbs. I use airbags(airsprings) in the coil springs when I tow it inflated to about 20 psi.. I keep them deflated to about 5psi for normal driving.

I have your same ride. Any specific brand or recommendation for the airsprings? And does your setup level out the truck at all during normal driving or preserve the factory rake/stance?
I used Airlift airbags. The OME springs actually raise the front very slightly higher than the rear. I shimmed the rear about 3/4" to level it up.
