Can anyone provide some advice on the best option for streaming music through bluetooth on a 2010 UConnect set up?

I have the MOPAR 30 pin iPod connector but can't find a Bluetooth adapter that works.

Bluetooth hands free calling works great, but I haven't found a good way to stream music without a bunch of extra gear on the dash.

Thanks!!

I use an MPOW Bluetooth Receiver.

I leave it plugged in the AUX input on my Uconnect RER. I know you don't want extra gear sticking out of your dash (I didn't either), but the MPOW very small, it works very well and at only $12 I don't think you'll mind it at all.

It streams music from my iPhone perfectly through the AUX input, and when I make/receive a phone call, my phone connects normally through the Uconnect's internal bluetooth receiver and mutes the music. After I hang up the phone call, the music resumes. Seamless.

I hope this helps!

Thank you! This sounds like a great solution - and very glad to hear the UConnect phone function works well with it.

Just ordered one. Cheers!

Just curious... Did the MPOW work for you?

Tried looking up MPQW. Found some strange things. What is it? I have a note5 and just use an Aux cord. If there's something better, I'm up for it. Thx.

Question for those of you that have this.....can you leave it plugged in and charging via the usb port on the front of the head unit as well?

Well, I ended up purchasing this and it works and integrates well with the uconnect. To answer my own question.....yes it can charge via usb port on the head unit and work at the same time.
