Depends on the offset of the Gladiator wheels. As far as I know Gladiator/Wranglers have significantly smaller offsets than the XK/WK.
I've been doing a lot of research on the topic and As far as my calculations go we can get away with wheels that have an offset of about +18mm/+12mm without the wheels sticking out past the wheel flares.

You need a little lift and adapters, but yes they can be made to fit. They aren't going to bolt on.
Why would you need adapters? The lift I understand but bolt patterns are the same on all Jeeps (5-on-5).

Adapters or spacers are going to be needed to help out with the offset as you mentioned earlier. I tend to disagree with the internet on this subject, but I don't like the 14mm vs. 1/2" stud difference between the JT/JL and JK/XK wheels. Yes, you can run spacers and be just fine, but I am a little anal about it, and went with (and will advise) the spidertrax adapters.

Totally about spidertrax. Can't fault their quality. But don't the JT/JL rims have a smaller offset, meaning they portrude further out than stock XK rims? Wouldn't spacers push them even further out?

I think JT/JL 7.5" wheels have an ET of 44.45, and XK 7.5" wheels have an ET of 44. There isn't much difference there, and XK wheels stick too far under the wheelwells stock anyway.

This is stock JT wheels with 1.5" spidertrax adapters. This sits about right IMO, and any further in is going to lead to rubbing in the front.

Oh, I always thought that Wrangler wheels had a significantly smaller offset than XKs (around the +20mm range). 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ That makes so much of sense now!

Thanks for educating me! :)

Did you use wheel spacers ?

Looking at Gladiator wheels right now.
Some say they are a direct bolt-on , others are saying the are not.
None. The bolt pattern matched perfectly. I have also had zero running on fender liner front or back. Ride is great however I don't do any off roading or trail riding. The only modification I did was cut the end of the bolt on upper control arm. It rides approx 1/2 inch from edge of tire. But it also moves up and down with the tire. I'm very happy with the ride and handling and think the look is much better.

Ok Thanks JohnGalt. I'll be picking up the set tomorrow and will find out soon enough if wheel spacers are needed. Don't really mind if I have to put spacers on but would rather not. Scored a set from a 2020 Gladiator including the unused spare for $120 so I shouldn't complain. Also replaced the strut/spring assemblies about 2 months ago and it raised the front a full inch. I'll post an update if I have any clearance problems.

I have 2020 gladiator wheels with 255/75/17 but had to use 1.5” spacers. I also have a 2” lift which seems to have lifted it more than 2” 🤦🏼‍♂️

I ordered a set of wheel spacers from Amazon, they will be here tomorrow. If I have to put a lift kit in it, I will. (not that hard since I changed the struts a couple of months ago). Brought the front end up an inch and it has not settled any lower.

I struggled hard core with my lift. Couldn’t get the bottom Clevis bolt through bushing on lower control arm. Took a lot of jacking, pushing down and a pry bar through clevis to “twist” clevis to push Bolt in. It was a nightmare. Everything else was easy except that bolt .

Soaked both of the ones on my Commander with PB Blaster the day before doing the job. They came out easily. Unbolted the calipers from the spindle and hung them up and had plenty of room to get the lower control arm down ,was thinking the same thing as you stated as I have read that some guys had issues getting the strut unit in with the 2" spacer in place. Will see how things go over the next few days, I know the strut comes out easy with the clevis bolted to it, some guys put the clevis in place and then jockey the strut in to it. Lift kit was also ordered and will be here tomorrow, I'll have a busy day on Thursday. LOL

Good luck hope it works out well for you. It took me 9 hours to do struts and shocks with 2” lift, upper and lower control arms. I had to cut my old clevis bolts out. I tried bolting clevis on first and sliding strut in, but way too much of an angle. After I worked on drivers side for hours, the passenger side was a lot easier now that I know what I’m doing. Sucks I gotta tear passenger side back apart this weekend since I tore the inner and outer cv boot🤦🏼‍♂️
