Hi! I have a 2008 Jeep commander with the 3.7. It has 252,000 miles on it. We just put a starter in it last week, and the drive shaft is clunking. While driving (specifically up hill) I’ll be accelerating and the suddenly the gas pedal goes to the floor and it gets nothing. If I put the car in neutral, then right back in drive it goes back to driving fine. This happens about 20 minutes into driving, every time for the past 2 weeks. There’s an ESP BAS light and Stability control light that stays on, it’s getting an alignment tomorrow morning. I cleared the check engine light yesterday and drove it Home today for the first time since. When the acceleration issue happened the check engine light came back on. Any leads on what this may be?
