Hey Folks. Picked up an dealer demo '08 Commander about a week ago that had about 5500 miles on it. I've noticed something about the feel of the engine and I'm wondering if it's normal for the 5.7L Hemi.
Under light acceleration from a stop, between about 1800 and 2800 rpms, the feel of the engine gets a little coarse. By that I mean there's a sort of light, buzzy vibration that is perceptible from the floor and accelerator pedal. It's not evident under harder accelerations, and it's not there at all at higher speeds in any gear under any type of acceleration. I'm guessing that barring anything actually being wrong it's just idiosyncratic of the drivetrain?
