I recently installed my RC/Crown spacer lift. Prior to installing, I read all I could here about the installation. The unanimous problem was the lower strut bolt, so I started spraying all fasteners a few weeks prior. Time came & I couldn't get that lower bolt out. I have a coil spring compressor so I thought I could utilize that to compress the strut enough to tilt it out, install the spacer & tilt it back in. Well, I compressed the spring/strut, tilted it out, but couldn't get it back into place now that it's 2.5" taller. By simply removing the axle/hub nut, it allowed the LCA to droop the additional distance necessary to tilt the strut with spacer back into place. Note that this takes 2 people. One to step on the LCA to further lower it while the other pushes up on the UCA while pushing the strut. Also, removing the bolt that holds the brake line to the subframe or removing the caliper may help.
I'll apologize in advance if this has been brought up, I just didn't see it in my reading.

Note: after removing the axle /hub nut, you may need to use a soft hammer to tap the axle into the hub as you push down on the LCA.
Also, I found conflicting info regarding the torque value for this nut. I saw 100 lbs/ft & 175. I think I kinda used the rule of averages & went with 100lbs/ft.
